Weekly Challenge #30: Mom & Me Challenge!

The Challenge: Create a scrapbook page about you and your mom, OR you and one of your children. Your project must be newly created for this challenge and include atleast 2 Cricut Image Cuts.

For this challenge I scrapped pictures from Mother's Day 2010. Just love these challenges to motivate me to get the pictures from the box to the scrapbook. Cricut cuts include the church that we attend together (Wedding) a butterfly (Create a Citter) because we spend the afternoon working in her yard and the title.

APRIL MONTHLY CHALLENGE: Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle!

In honor of Earth Day (April 22nd) we would like you to recycle, reuse or repurpose 3 items on your project. For example, cut a shape from junk mail found in your trash can. Reuse something found in a junk drawer, or whatever! Use your creativity! Create a layout, card, altered project, etc.
For this challenge I used the bunny from Doodlecharms and the 2 eggs from Easter 2010. The bunny is from old wrapping paper, the shadow is cardboard used as packing material for paper, the grass is leftover from last year and the bow is a small piece of ribbon I had left over from another projects.

Weekly Challenge #28: Creepy Crawlies Challenge!

The Challenge: Create a scrapbook page about the things that bug you. Use a bug somewhere on your project at least 2 Cricut cuts.

Our cats as kittens loved the box that I received my Cricut Expression. They would have the paper all over the floor for me to pick up, but it was fun to watch them having a good time. (I kept telling myself that as I was constantly picking it up.)For the bug, I included a butterfly and of course the Cricut bug and other Cricut cuts are the heart, tag with cat's name, cat face, and the title. These challenges are really helping me get pictures scrapped that have been sitting in a box.

Weekly Challenge #27: Make a Game Plan Challenge!

The Challenge: Create your own sketch (card/layout) and then make a project with it. You will need to upload both images this week, the sketch and the project.

I used pond pictures taken from our second story to get a "birds eye view". The Cricut cuts are the large owl and the title with the owl. We have two owls overlooking our pond in hopes their "hooting" will keep the big Blue Heron away and not eat our Koi like he did last year.

Baby Mini Book

March SPRING CLEANING CONTEST!

How do you store your Cuttlebug Folders, Cartridges, Paper and Ribbon… not to mention your favorite Cricut tools?? We want to see it… and so does everyone else that needs some inspiration!!

CONTEST RULES: This is easy… just submit your one of a kind storage idea and it must involve at least 4 Cricut items.

March SPRING CLEANING CONTEST!

This challenge is to show how I store Cricut cartridges, juke box, Solutions cartridges and handbooks. I like to store my carts by type. On the top self are the cake, MS, Lites, Disney and Solutions cartridges. Since the self is deep, I store supplies, I don't use often-large Xyron. The next two shelves, I store the Image cartridges and behind them are Xyron tape and the seasonal full content cartridges: Halloween and Christmas. The 3rd shelf are the Classmates and Font Cartridges. Behind them are the Juke Box, in the green box are the seasonal Solutions Cartridges and on top of the Juke Box are handbooks. Before I use to store the carts in drawers, but I like this shelf idea much better, because I can see all my carts and they are easy to access. Also, behind the carts is a lot of space for storage.
