This week's challenge was to use a holiday shape from the on- line Silhouette store. I chose a santa topper(#35075) to hold treats.

This week's challenge is to create a new shape by modifing the shape using weld, crop, edit points, subtract etc. I used "Oh Happy Day"(#31721)and then welded the oval from Studio Designer Edition for a mat for Silent Night Holy Night(#23315).

This week's challenge is to create gift wrap elements with our Silhouette. I created a gable box (#28399) and used Merry Christmas Phrase (#4347) for a gift card and candy for a friend.

Silhouette America Weekly Challenge

The challenge was to use the free shape of the week or sketch pens. Since I do not have sketch pens yet, I chose the Merry Christmas free shape to make a Christmas card (Nordic Mitten Card and Tags: #36550). To make it small enough to fit the front of the card, I used vinyl and the offset feature. I love the color combination of ruby, juniper and the frosted patterned paper.

Silhouette Challenge

The challenge is to create a project with our Silhouette using a pillow box shape and embellished using any other shapes from the Silhouette online store. I used the banner from Wreath with banner and the Turkey pillow box.

I altered a wooden picture frame for a friend's first grandson. Cricut cuts are from George (hearts and star), Art Philosophy (shapes for CTMH stamps) and New Arrival (giraffe). The name and date of birth can be written in the large star.

This challenge was about using shapes in unexpected ways. I chose to use negatives over glitter paper to make a card. The card front is in my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition library called Snowflakes, but can't find the number in the Online Store.

This week the challenge was to use circles. Two circles from the Silhouette store were used for my card: Circle shape card #35434 and the Halloween Circle #32740. I added sentiment #32740 to the inside and a purple bow, love how purple is used for Halloween now.
