Weekly Challenge #9: Black Friday Challenge!

This Weekly Challenge has a “Black Friday” twist! Here’s what we want you to do this week . . . Include the color black in your project AND recycle or repurpose something. Also, 2 Cricut cuts are required.

I bought the Noel decoration at Wal-Mart after Christmas on a great sale. It has sat upstairs since then. For this challenge I unearthed it and added cuts from A Child's Year, Winter Frolic and When It's cold outside. The black shadows were perfect against the gold. If it hadn't been for this challenge, it would still be in the bag!

Cricut Circle: DECEMBER MAGAZINE GIFT BAG/BOX CONTEST!

You must create your gift bag or box using a base from one of the many Cricut cartridges available. Embellish it to fit your style! Please use at least 4 Cricut cuts in your design and incorporate something from one of this month’s magazine sponsors.

I used Dear Lizzy + American Crafts from Christmas Comfort and Cheer. Cricut cuts: Holly, poinsettia, leaves from Winter Woodland, Penwork from French Manor and bag from TBBM. Embellished with red and gold gems, glitter pen and ribbon for handle. This will make a great gift card holder for my niece.
