NOVEMBER EXCLUSIVE SOPHIE CARTRIDGE CONTEST!

We love our darling Sophie cartridge so much that we want to feature it in this month’s contest! Use your exclusive cartridge to create something fabulous for the upcoming holidays!
Contest Rules: Use your Sophie cartridge for at least 3 cuts to create your project. Contest will open on November 18th

I used an unfinished sled purchased from Craft Warehouse and decorated it with Christmas paper, ribbon, and painted the runners gray. The 3 cuts from the Sophie Cartridge are the tree, snowflakes and Accent3-s on p. 54 for the tag. The stamp is from my stash. This will be a gift for a friend when we have our annual Christmas lunch.

Weekly Challenge #45: Run for the Border Challenge!

The Challenge: Borders can be simple & sweet, elegantly detailed, masculine, or playful . . . and they can be that perfect final touch to add to your project. We want you to make a run for the border . . . your Cricut Borders, that is. Create a projects of your choice and include a Cricut Border cut somewhere on your project. Be sure to include atleast 2 Total Cricut Image Cuts on your project.

For this challenge, I used the snowflake border from Winter Frolic on p.28. The sledder, sign post, mountain, trees, and White Christmas are from the same cart. Snow-Tex was added to give the card texture and some "snow". This card will be for my grandson who loves sledding and the higher the hill, the better.

NOVEMBER MONTHLY CHALLENGE: Signs of Fall with Texture Challenge!

The Challenge: Create a project of any kind using your “sign/sybmol” of fall (remember, this can be any fall item that brings that fall feeling to you). You also must include some way of adding texture to your project. Whether you use a cuttlebug, distress the edges, ink, stickles, etc. Your project must include at least 2 different Cricut cuts.

I made a Thanksgiving Center piece for the table. The lantern is from Tie the Knot and hid the hearts with the Gypsy. I really like this cart for lanterns because of the wavy lines. It was a little too high, so I did some tweaking and used a punch at the top. Art Philolosy was used for the leaves, acorns, left over cuts from the decorative layer circle spread on the plate, and the pumpkin vine from Happy Hauntings. For texture, I used a stamp for a random pattern on the pumpkins and a Cuttlebug folder on the acorn and inked the textured paper.

Weekly Challenge #44: Mini Album Challenge!

The Challenge: There is something about mini albums that is so charming. When I look through one, I feel like I am opening a special gift with something new to discover on each page. They are a tactile treat! For this challenge we want to see you create a Mini Album using your Cricut machine. It can be for any holiday, season, occasion, or just because! Be sure to include atleast 2 Cricut Image Cuts on your project.

I made a mini album for a friend who loves birds for her birthday. I used paper and embellishments from My Little Shoe Box. The Cricuts are from Straight from the Nest (Life is Tweet, bird cage, flower, nest), Give a Hoot (tree, nest, bird, flower), Picturesque (Daisy), Stretch Your Imagination (bird house).
