Weekly Challenge #38: Vacation Memories Challenge!

These are pictures from our 2005 Hawaiian Cruise. They were stuffed in a box and through these
challenges, I am slowly getting them scrapped. Cartridges used: Going Places, Paper Dolls All Dressed Up and Live Is a Beach.

AUGUST MONTHLY CHALLENGE: Create a Scene Challenge!

The Challenge: Create a project of your choice utilizing your Cricut Cut Images to create a scene! (You are not required to use it, but your latest Circle Exclusive cartridge, Pop-Up Neighborhood, has tons of great images for building a scene!) Your project must include atleast 2 different Cricut Image Cuts.


I will be traveling to the Mall of America soon and created a page for pictures when I return. I just love Pop-Up Neighborhood with all the buildings. My Community and Life Is a Beach were also used.

MAKE IT YOUR WAY CONTEST!

Use this month’s magazine as a stepping off point for you to create something your way. Use one of our Designers projects to help you create something similar and yet has your own style. You might see a flower, paper, design element or maybe just the concept to help you design something of your own. CONTEST RULES: Use at least 3 Cricut Cuts and an idea from the magazine

I liked how Michele Kovak on p.23 used flowers on her picture. I used tulips and iris on pictures of my gransons during their Easter Egg Hunt. Cartridges used: Picturesque for the tulips, Walk in My Garden for the Iris, 3 Birds for the Rabbit, and Easter 2010 for the title-Happy Easter and Cross.

Weekly Challenge #33: Sweet Summertime Challenge!

The Challenge: What makes summertime “sweet” to you? Ice cream treats? Watermelon? Popsicles? Whatever it is we want you to include the shape of your favorite summertime sweet treat on your project.Include 2 Cricut image cuts.


Mom's birthday is July 6 and we always have a family dinner at her favorite restaurant. Since it is her bd, she is given a sundae with a candle. She shares with everyone at the table and the restaurant supplies enough spoons for all us to have a taste of that ice cream treat on a hot July day. Cricut cuts are from Sweet Treets: sundae and the present. Before she blows out the candle, we tell her to "Make a Wish" which is the stamp I used.

Weekly Challenge #24: St. Paddy’s Challenge!

The Challenge: Use rainbow colors OR a monochromatic green color scheme on your project. We also want to see you add a touch of gold somewhere on your project
You can create any type of project you would like (layout, card, tag, altered project, mini album, etc.) but your project must be newly created for this challenge and include atleast 2 Cricut Image Cuts. You must submit a project to be entered into the Challenge Prize Drawing.

For this challenge, I used Stamping for Lucky Day and Give a Hoot for the shamrock. Gold foil is used for the matting on one picture and black out feature on Lucky Day. Loving these challenges to get these pictures scrapbooked. There are so many and I was so overwhelmed, but I'll get them finished one challenge at a time.

Weekly Challenge #16: Cute As a Button Sketch Challenge!

Babies are definitely “cute as a button” with their sweet little faces and tiny features. In honor of our Baby Theme, this week we challenge you to create a SCRAPBOOK PAGE or CARD using the sketch. Your project doesn’t need to follow the sketch exactly, but it should be apparent that you used it as inspiration. Feel free to turn it on it’s side or move elements to fit what you are doing. In addition to using the sketch, we also want you to incorporate STAMPING and BUTTONS (of course!).

Project must be newly created for this challenge and must include atleast 2 different cuts from any Cricut cartridge to qualify.

For this challenge I used the Cricut cuts: It's a Party and the Brackets. My son turned 35 and I added his baby picture taken 35 years ago. The paper had the age stamped on it and I highlighted it with stickles and brackets and of course added buttons.
